At the half-way stage of the world cup, Australia have won four of their five matches and are set to play the most tricky opponents of this tournament, Bangladesh, at Trent Bridge on Thursday.
Australia rarely play Bangladesh and that itself could pose the biggest problem. Australia last played Bangladesh in an ODI in 2011, the two matches between them since then were abandoned due to rain, which included the World Cup match in Brisbane in 2015 and the Champions Trophy match at the Oval in 2017.
